The Top 100 Finalists of the WallMag Independent Music Creator Awards 2026 were announced on 20 July 2026. Here are answers to the most common questions.
When are the winners announced?
The Top 3 Winners are announced on 27 July 2026. Voting stays open until then, so votes earned between now and 27 July still count toward the final result.
How were the Top 100 finalists chosen?
Entirely by community votes. Every project earned a score from the votes it received, measured against the highest-scoring entry in the award. We then ranked every creator by their strongest submission, and the top 100 became finalists.
Why isn't my entry a finalist?
Finalists are the top 100 creators by community votes. If your entry didn't make the Top 100 this time, it's still ranked in the award — many entrants placed in the Top 250. You'll have received an email and in-app note showing exactly where your entry stands.
How is the jury involved?
The jury votes after finalists are announced. From 20–27 July, jury evaluation (80%) and community votes (20%) together decide the Top 3 Winners.
How and when do I get my certificate?
Certificates become available after the winners are announced on 27 July 2026. You'll be able to download your certificate as a PDF from the My Submissions tab on the award page, and you'll get an email + in-app notification when it's ready. A framed print can also be ordered.
I didn't get the finalist / result email.
